On the planet Telos, the Doctor and his friends encounter a party of archaeologists intent on uncovering the mythical ‘tomb of the Cybermen’. Only the Doctor seems aware of the folly of this venture, but suddenly it’s too late – the ice tombs are open, and the Cybermen are coming back to life… Trapped underground with the Cyber Controller and his acolytes, including the vermin-like Cybermats, the Doctor and company learn that they are to be turned into a new generation of Cybermen. To make matters worse, there is treachery and double-crossing amongst the humans.

The Doctor and his friends join forces with Travers, an English explorer out to prove the existence of the elusive abominable snowmen. But they soon discover that these Yeti are not the timid animals that Travers seeks. They are the unstoppable servants of an alien Intelligence.

Fury from the Deep Synopsis

The TARDIS brings the Doctor, Jamie and Victoria to the south coast of present…day Earth. Something nasty is lurking in the gas pipelines of the North Sea, and before long the nearby refinery is under attack.

Landing on a foam covered beach, the travellers are at first mistaken for saboteurs. A number of the refinery personnel have been behaving strangely, and the base chief, Robson, is showing serious signs of stress. Meanwhile Maggie Harris, having been stung by a mysterious frond of sea vegetation, is menaced by the sinister engineers Oak and Quill.

As sentient foam and weed combine to frightening effect, it soon becomes clear that the danger emanates from beneath the sea. Can that really be a heartbeat coming from deep inside the refinery pipes? Will the Doctor and his friends be in time to prevent an entire take…over of Earth – and will they all escape with their lives?

The Wheel in Space Synopsis

Taking drastic measures to escape a TARDIS malfunction, the Doctor and Jamie arrive on a rocket, apparently deserted in space, and soon encounter its aggressive robot guard. When a blow to the head then renders the Doctor unconscious, Jamie’s only hope of rescue lies in contacting the Wheel space station which is orbiting nearby.

It’s not long before the Doctor and Jamie realise that their old adversaries, the Cybermen, are seeking to invade first the Wheel and then Earth itself. One by one the space station’s crew are being taken over, whilst deadly rodent-like Cybermats roam the space station and steadily consume its fuel supply. On top of everything, a meteorite storm is approaching ? but the Wheel’s defence system has been disabled…
