The interior of the TARDIS is said to be huge, below are some of the different rooms that have been shown in the series.
The original TARDIS had a few rooms leading of the main console room, the first was a sitting room with a food replicator. Another of the rooms shown was a bedroom with fold out beds.
The TARDIS has had various cloak rooms, usually it is only shown after a regeneration when the Doctor is seen looking for a new set of clothes. The biggest room was shown after the 10th Doctor had fully regenerated. This also proved there were still more rooms after the console room even though no other door was shown.
A lot of rooms were shown in “The Invasion of Time” These included the TARDIS swimming pool and an art gallery.
The Eye of Harmony is a black hole created by the Time Lords as a power source for Gallifrey and time ships. As revealed in the 1996 TV Movie, the cloister room is where the Eye of Harmony is located within the TARDIS. The Eye of Harmony is the main power source of the TARDIS.
The Zero room is completely cut it off from the outside universe, it helped the 5th Doctor recover from his regeneration.
Below are some of the TARDIS corridors shown in the series, over the years there have been various objects left in the Tardis corridors from the Doctors adventures. In the 2011 story The Doctor’s Wife more corridors were seen in the style of the new desktop theme.
