The concept for a Doctor Who set came from the LEGO® IDEAS website where fans can submit ideas for a set and vote for their favourite idea to be produced.

Here is the fully painted Edge Sculpture Cyberman Bust as shown at the Spring Fair Trade Show at the NEC last week. This variant being one of the Mondas Cybermen first introduced in the episode 'Nightmare in Silver'. The BBC themselves have fully approved the piece and it is now a legitimate licensed Doctor Who product. ..... We’re delighted to reveal that filming has started on block 2 of the new series of Doctor Who!

Hettie MacDonald, who directed the Weeping Angels’ chilling debut in Blink, returns to Doctor Who and shooting for the block began today, 12 February. Filming for the new series started in Cardiff in January and the Doctor and Clara will be back on BBC One in Autumn, 2015.
