Doctor Who 2008 series

Catherine Tate returned as Donna Noble in the 2008 series. This was David Tennants last full series.

The series was very successful, the final episode was watched by over 10 million viewers making it the most watched programme of the week.

Doctor Who 2006 series

For the 2007 series David Tennant returned as the Doctor with new companion Martha Jones played by Freema Agyeman.

The 2007 Christmas special was watched by over 13 million viewers making it the 2nd most watched programme of the year.

Doctor Who 2005 series

Doctor Who was relaunched to a new audience in 2005 with viewing figures of over 10 million.

The 2005 series featured Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor and Billie Piper as Rose Tyler. This series also saw the return of the Daleks.
