Doctor Who in 2016

The BBC announced 22/01/2016 that there would be a Christmas special this year and spin-off ‘Class’. Series Ten will return Spring 2017.

‘Class’ spin-off

The spin-off ‘Class’ will be available later this year on the BBC Three website. There will be 8 x 45 minute episodes.

The episodes will also air on BBC One after they’ve been online.

Doctor Who Series Ten

The BBC announced 22/01/2016 that Doctor Who Series Ten will air on BBC One in Spring 2017.

BBC announced that Steven Moffat’s next series of Doctor Who will be his last and confirmed Chris Chibnall as new Head Writer and Executive Producer.

A New Regeneration Cycle

In the anniversary year it was revealed that Matt Smith was the 13th and final incarnation.

The Doctor was granted a new regeneration cycle from the Time Lords in ‘The Time of the Doctor’ allowing the Doctor to regenerate again.
